Service at Be Our Guest

It's no secret that Florida weather is hot, day in and day out. It's also no secret that Be Our Guest is the most popular restaurant in Magic Kingdom (and arguably, Walt Disney World). Its reservation-only dinner service combined with quick-service lunch make it appealing to everyone on the dining
plan. (Not to mention the food, Beast, and interior decor of the castle!) Wait times to get in at lunch usually start at around 30 minutes, before you ever get to order! Your wait is outside, on the castle walkway, with no protection for the Florida sun. What's a poor hungry villager to do?

Well you know the words to the song, right?

"Be our guest, be our guest,
Put our service to the test.
Tie your napkin round your neck, 'cherie
And we provide the rest!

Soup du jour, hot hors de ouvres,
why, we only live to serve..."

The key here at Be Our Guest is service. So enter.... the in-line umbrellas for shade, and (just behind the Cast Member) complimentary lemon water to quench your thirst while you wait. Our Cast Member simply walked up and down the line asking anyone if they would like an umbrella for shade (YES!!), and pointed out the lemon water for our convenience.

It was a truly wonderful touch!

So there you go, another wonderful example of the "Disney side" of life. See ya real soon!
