Snack Review: Powdered Sugar Dusted Corn Nuggets

About the snack:
One word: Yummmmm! These little bites of yummy goodness are basically a bite full of sweet creamed corn, battered and deep fried to a golden brown. They're pulled out fresh and piping hot, then dusted with sugar. I know what you're thinking... Ewww (because that's what I thought too!) but they're quite delicious! If you happen to bite them, but not eat the entire nugget, it's great that the corn doesn't run out of the nugget "shell".

Where to find them: We found them in the Magic Kingdom (Frontierland) at the Outpost, right across from Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn.

Are they on the Disney Dining Plan?
Yes, they are on the dining plan, and count as one snack. You can share them, however. The hubs and I shared them and were satisfied (ie, not stuffed, not starving) afterwards. If you're not on a dining plan and have to pay out of pocket, you'd be looking at about $3.99 per order.

Kid friendliness: 3 forks, only because the consistency of the inside will turn some kids off (like my son) before they're ever even willing to take a bite!

Adult friendliness: 5 forks. These are fun to share and the fact that there's corn inside almost makes you fool yourself into thinking they're still a somewhat healthy vegetable. ;-)

Price: 5 forks, $3.99 for one small tub.

Overall: 4.75 forks out of 5 for deliciousness, uniqueness, and leave-you-wanting-more-ness. Definitely on my top 10 snack list now!
